HONOR X10 Max 5G Will Feature A Gigantic Display

HONOR is preparing to launch a new smartphone, and this phone will have a gigantic display. The HONOR X10 Max 5G is coming with a 7.09-inch panel, which is essentially a tablet-sized display.

HONOR has confirmed, via Weibo, that the X10 Max 5G will arrive on July 2. The company said that it will have a large display, but did not mention how large will it be.

The HONOR X10 Max 5G display will be huge

Well, the phone's specs did leak as well, and revealed that we're looking at a 7.09-inch panel. This will be a fullHD+ (2280 x 1080) display, by the way. The phone will be fueled by the MediaTek Dimensity 800 SoC, it seems.

A 48-megapixel main camera will be placed on the back, with an 8-megapixel camera on the front. Android 10 will come pre-installed on the device, along with HONOR's Magic UI 3.1.1 on top of it.

A 5,000mAh battery has also been mentioned in the leaked spec sheet. The phone will also support 22.5W fast charging, and this is probably wired charging. It's unlikely the HONOR X10 will offer wireless charging.

Now, in addition to this spec leak, the phone also surfaced on vMall. Thanks to that listing, the design of the phone's front side has been revealed, not the back, though.

The phone will also include a waterdrop display notch, and thin bezels

As you can see in the provided image, the HONOR X10 Max 5G will feature a waterdrop display notch. That notch will be tiny, though, and that's a good thing, of course.

The phone's bezels will be quite minimal. Its bottom bezel will be a bit thicker than the rest of them, though. The corners of this phone will be rounded, and the same goes for its display corners.

Chances are that the HONOR X10 Max 5G is made out of metal and glass. We're only guessing here, but that seems to be the logical choice here. Its back side will be curved towards the edges, probably.

We're still not sure if the phone will include an in-display fingerprint scanner, or a rear-facing one. Chances are it will be the former. A side-facing fingerprint scanner is not included, based on the provided render.

The HONOR X10 Max 5G will be a direct successor to the HONOR X8 Max. That phone launched back in 2018, and the company skipped the HONOR 9X Max last year.

Interestingly enough, the HONOR 8X Max had a larger display than the HONOR X10 Max 5G. It sported a 7.12-inch panel, and thicker bezels. So, the HONOR 10X Max 5G will be a bit smaller, not only will it have a slightly smaller display, but thinner bezels as well.
