This Saturday, UFC Fight Night Apex is taking place, starting at 8PM ET, airing live on ESPN+.
The main card is starting at 8PM ET, with the prelims starting at 5PM ET. It'll be airing on ESPN+, but it is not exclusive to ESPN+. However, if you don't subscribe to a streaming Live TV service like YouTube TV, Sling TV or something similar, then you'll need to sign up for ESPN+. Luckily, it's only $5 per month, which is much less than what you pay for Netflix already.
Headlining the main card on UFC Fight Night Apex, is Dustin "The Diamond" Poriier vs Dan Hooker. Poirier is #3 ranked lightweight and a former interim champion, while Hooker is #5 ranked lightweight. And has 10 wins by knockout.
This main event is pretty impressive. Featuring two of the top 5 fighters in the UFC's most competitive division. It's also Poirier's first fight since losing to the current champion, Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 242. Poirier has TKO wins over Justin Gaethje, Anthony Pettis and Eddie Alvarez and ended the 13-fight win streak of Max Holloway at UFC 236. So this is going to be a pretty impressive fight.
Also on the main card is Mike Perry vs Mickey Gall. 11 of Perry's 13 wins are via knockout. And he is also two-time Performance of the Night and Fight of the Night Winer. Perry is a fan favorite for his fighting style and personality and had won his first 9 fights by TKO or knockout. Gall, on the other hand, was one of the first fighters signed through "Dana White's Lookin For a Fight." Though he may be best known for defeating CM Punk (former WWE Champion) and also has five wins by submission.
You can sign up for ESPN+ here, and watch UFC Fight Night Apex plus a whole lot more UFC content. ESPN+ has made a huge investment in UFC and has exclusive rights to a lot of content including the PPVs.
